Geetika Malhotra

Director and Principal Psychotherapist

Balanced Life Psychotherapy & Counselling

Geetika is a focused, empathetic psychotherapist practising since 2015 with deep educational foundations (3 master's degrees including a first class MBA from NUS Singapore) and diverse experiences. She is multi-lingual (English, Hindi & basic German), has lived and worked in multiple countries (Singapore, UK, India, and Switzerland) and dealt with a wide range of mental health issues – both at workplaces or at home/in families. Her key strengths are deep intuitive understanding & sensitivity, attachment & trauma-informed, empathy and professional competence.

Over the years, Geetika has worked with men, women, adolescents, young adults, LGBTQ+ and the aged from many Asian and Western countries. She has two key differentiators relevant to this topic: (a) She had a long and successful stint in large multinational companies before deciding to switch careers toward psychotherapy and therefore intrinsically understands the wellness challenges faced in the corporate world, (b) She has already completed hundreds of hours with staff in over 50 companies, including 1x1 and critical incident help, and is thus deeply experienced with the support model and typical wellness issues faced at the workplace.
